Walking at Volcanic Region
La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park is a place where you will experience a wonderful trip to explore the volcanic landscape of Catalonia, northeastern Spain. A park in about 15,000 hectares, where you can find 40 volcanic cones, 20 basalt lava flows, and different biological and cultural attractions.
While walking in this volcanic region part of Catalonia, you will not only be able to see these perfectly preserved cones and other cultural structures, but also you will know the history. Many years ago about the volcano being active before its last eruption took place and now became inactive. The pathway of the Natural Park has several routes and some of them have signs and some do not. And also the majority of this Natural Park is private property, so try not to disturb the people who are living and also visiting. It is not only good for them but also for you to have a nice and relaxing walk for your tour.
